Northern Arizona Climate Change Alliance – Climate Change: What’s Gender Got to Do with It?

We will explore and discuss the many issues of social justice and gender inequity in a changing climate. The discussion will include opportunity for Q&A. This event is free and open to the public. Dr. Frances Julia Riemer, Professor of Educational Foundations and Associate Faculty, former Director of Women’s and Gender Studies Program at Northern Arizona University. She focuses on change and issues of equity and access, gender, development and sustainable communities, as well as cultural differences and social organizations of community, school, and workplace.
