Save Our Schools Arizona Network – Indigenous Perspectives: Points in American Indian History – Bosque Redondo
January 19 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
The history of this country’s indigenous people has been tumultuous and filled with all of the challenges that life has to offer. Join us as we discuss one of the most difficult times for two tribes of the Southwest: the removal of Mescalero Apaches and Navajos to a prison called Bosque Redondo at Fort Sumner, New Mexico. Discussion moderated by Nadine Groenig, Save Our Schools Arizona Network’s Tribal Outreach Consultant.
